Africa has a lot of snacks on their plate as it is made locally among them and can be quite easy to prepare. Some of the common snacks usually served during this festive period are listed below
Kapana

It is one of the most common snack in Namibia as they are a nation of meat lovers and there’s nothing more meatier than kapana. It is a dish that involves manning barbecues (braais) cut into bite-sized pieces of meat, which you then drag over a box filled with salt and spices and pop into your mouth.
Plantain Chips

It is one snack that is found almost in all countries across Africa and it is usually taken when going for a trip. It is also served during the festive period and it is quite a very healthy snack to try.
Samosa

A snack that is found in Indian samosa was adopted by some African countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and also Nigeria. It is usually found among street vendors and restaurants. Samosa is cooked with meat, flour, vegetables, and so on. It is one of the snacks that keep you asking for more after your first bite.
Puff Puff

It is a deep-fried dough that is made from yeast dough, shaped into balls, and deep-fried until golden brown. It has a doughnut-like texture but is slightly chewy. It is one of the common snacks found anywhere across Africa. Puff puff is one snack you will always want to nibble on this festive season.
Chin Chin

It is a snack made from a basic combination of flour, milk, and sugar and other optional ingredients like egg, baking powder, and nutmeg. Chin chin is a crunchy delight served in most of West Africa and must not be missing among your snacks.
